    women are the prize

He who finds a wife, finds a good thing.

There’s an age old debate regarding who is the prize in society on social media. The rise of femininity introduced a old way of thinking to modern women. It taught women their true divine essence and soft power. Many femininity guru’s token the phrase “you are the prize” as an empowerment mechanism to encourage women to embrace their divinity. As femininity is the complementary energy to masculinity. However, some men felt triggered by this token phrase and questioned why women were the prize when men were the providers and protectors of women. So naturally as women who were learning to embrace our feminine energy we tapped into our collaborative energy and allowed men to have that “space” as well (do you want to be right or happy). As we realize that men are naturally competitive and as soft feminine women, we don’t debate.

    know thyself

However, as I sit and think about why women were initially taught that they were the prize it was never to belittle our counterparts. In fact only a WINNER wins a prize. So what if we change the narrative to “women are the prize and men are the winners”. With this being said not every man is a winner and not every woman is a prize. Being a prize come’s with a deep sense of knowing your value to your man. God create us as an helpmeet, and society has lied to many women as a result we find more single depressed women. Leaning into your feminine energy and being with a man who is a winner will require a different mindset, not one of self-entitlement but feminine energy. It’s also important that we note that no matter how feminine a woman is there are some men who are misogynistic and believe a woman should earn, work or compete for him. They moan and complain about how men are expected to work and toil to achieve while women are expected just to be. Although “being” is feminine energy, when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree God cursed men to hard work and labor and women to childbirth and labor. Rarely ever do you hear women complaining about men not working and toiling to bear a child. However, men are entitled to their perspective and as feminine women we do not try to appeal to a man’s logic or reason. We create pleasurable experiences in which they can only feel why God create us as the prize.

    Acceptance

“God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change. The COURAGE to change the things I can and the WISDOM to know the difference.

I am a firm believe in Divine Timing, I also believe that we all are on our individual life journey and pathways of life and what is meant for one may not be intended for another.

Yes, there are always rare exceptions to rule or glitches in the matrix however those exceptions are not common.

Which leads to me acceptance. There’s an old saying you made your bed now you have to lie in it. Ultimately acceptance is accepting the responsibility for your decisions. As life is only a boomerang of cause and effect. Action and reaction.

So when we accept “WHAT IS” and do away what we think life “SHOULD BE” something magical happens. You stop resisting and you flow. You surrender to the will of the universe and realize that I am exactly where I am meant to be. In this moment and in this space it’s all connected each dot connects to the other like a puzzle.

I accept that there are no mistakes in life only lessons. I accept that where I am today is where I am intended to be. I’ve had some pretty amazing life experiences to last me a hundred lifetimes. Life experiences that most women only see in movies. I will never forget those moments.

So I have no regrets, I remember living in a two bedroom apartment in public housing with one bathroom. There was one way in and one way out. I remember playing outside and a stranger pulled a gun out on me for no reason at all. I remember my eyes growing wide and as my body was riddle with anxiety. My reaction seemed to amuse the stranger because he laughed and drove off. I never forgot that day.

I remember my Grandmother fussing at me because I didn’t have any business down there anyway. I was told to stay on the porch. Again, life is filled with actions and reactions.

So when I sit in my office and listen to my children play in our backyard I am grateful, that they have a very different life than what I experienced growing up.

I am grateful for my husband who goes to work every single day and works hard for the family business, that hopefully one day will employ our children and their children.

So yes right now we are in a very different season of life, it’s called building, it isn’t easy or fun. It takes patience, resilience and optimism. I look forward to the day that we can retire somewhere tropical but for now we are rooted here and I accept that. I am rooted but I flow…

I see women who seem to live amazing lives, and I genuinely support them because I understand how Divine Timing works. There are some seasons were you are meant to sit on the bench and then there are others when its playtime.

The key is accepting each season and making the most of it.

Life is cynical. It isn’t linear and there’s a time for everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

    Master Awareness

Mastering Awareness is the first step in becoming the best version of yourself. Who are you? The introspective journey within can be quite daunting initially. It can be brutal and filled with gut wrenching blows to the ego, however if you don’t give up you will make it to the other side. It’s never easy doing the shadow work that requires us to accept and acknowledge those not so good qualities about ourselves. However to start the journey of self-love and to master awareness doing the shadow work is absolutely necessary because whatever you run from will haunt you.

Face the lion because if you run he will chase you.

My entire life I was a runner, I ran from my issues whenever something became too difficult I ran. Life taught me that it all eventually catches up with you so why not face the lion. Walk up to the lion and he will disappear, runaway and he will chase you. Agree with your adversaries…

Facing the lion requires courage, patience and strength. It requires a type of resilience that when you are knocked down (which will happen) you will get back up.

There are 3 components to the mind: Know Thyself

    1.Subconscious- Power without direction

    2.Conscious – Reality and limitation

3.Super Subconscious- (miracles) the divine design, this is often something that’s too good to be true.
